Volkskrant Magazine brings 10 covers from legends and aces out of the magazineworld.

"There is a saying in the creative field that 'you’re only as good as your last work’. Being only ‘as good as your last work’ can be seen as the main force behind a constant barrage of visual imagery in advertising, fashion, art and design. If we believe we are as good as our last work we are willingly dancing on a razor’s edge because we can never know if our new work will be good enough for our self proclaimed imaginary standards. This vulnerable position leaves us no choice but to sharpen our pencils and MAKE NEW WORK"
