It's always fun to hear great art-directors talk about their favorite magazine covers.
This month Coverjunkie asked Vasco Colombo about the favorite covers he designed himself.

Favorite #4: UP Berlin Cover:
"In this cover we managed to include different references but still with a minimalist touch: the Berlin wall, the grafitti, Wenders' Wings of Desire. The idea of Berlin as a city with lots of contrasts, rebuilding itself, is given by the two models and the contrast between their attitude for the camera. That baby is actually the photographer's daughter and amazed everyone at the studio by behaving like a pro during the shooting!"
