The Sunday Times Magazine
Sweet cover design Sunday Times Magazine by art director Alyson Waller (alyson.waller@Sunday-times.co.uk):
"Inside the magazine spectrum was dedicated to the end of the space shuttle, with so many images of space inside the Editor wanted a concept for the cover to get away from the obvious. I was asked to think of something that would reflect the end of the space shuttle.
I thought about what actually happens to the shuttles when they are no longer in use. Some become museum pieces so that is when I imagined an artist wanting to put the shuttle in a space such as the Turbine hall. I saw Fiona Banner had put a fighter plane in the Tate Britain so that is how it ended and started a new life there."
