I hate to read this and post it outthere;
Art Director John Mahood tells me its the last issue of Sport magazine.

John got a call during this particular cover shoot that the magazine was closing. Take a look at the finesses; "The end starts here" at the top is an ace (but bitter) touch. Coverlines were also Johns as these work nicely on both levels i think.
