5280 (US)
New cover 5280 magazine from Denver
backstory from Noah, the photographer, in this blurb (they're up at 14,000 feet!):
The cover of our single-topic December issue showcases Colorado’s appeal as a world-class adventure hub. Home to two dozen mountain ranges, each with its own distinct character, the state is a thrill-seeker's paradise. The scene, captured by photographer Noah Wetzel, depicts Olympian Justin Reiter on 14,130-foot Capitol Peak. The pair arose at 2 a.m. and climbed for hours in darkness to capture Knife Edge bathed in beautiful first light—a feat not for the faint of heart (or lung). This cover fulfills 5280’s mission: to offer readers the best of Denver and Colorado, often drawing inspiration from our remarkable landscape.
