Creative Director Matthew Bates tells me: "The Outdoor Retailer trade show is four days long and we published an issue of the magazine each day of the Show. Kind of like a daily news magazine for the 20,000 people in the outdoor industry coming in for the show. We do it twice a year, once for the four day winter show in January and again for the Summer show in August."
