Flap or no flap?
The critical point on the ace covers from Bloomberg Businessweek is the flap.
It's killing the striking design but i can also understand the flap for attracting more costumers by using more headlines.
Just noticed their new cover with a new concept; a split-run cover is bringing a newsstand cover (with many headlines) and a subscribers cover (without headlines)... a better solution?
Here this weeks newsstand cover that's not very striking.
Here this weeks subscribers cover that's very striking.
