The SPD awards are coming up this friday and these are THE awards to win if you ask me; simply cause its got an international flavor. SPD carries lots of categories like 'spread design', 'best magazine', best illustration' and off course: 'best cover design'

The jury is very well informed and professional, lots of people out of the bizz are judging and discussing each entry. Watch out on Coverjunkie for the actuall winners, good stuff.
